Cardiovascular Sonography

Cardiovascular Technicians are sometimes referred to as Echocardiographers, Echo Technologists, or Cardiac sonographers. The primary responsibility of an echo tech is to gather data that can be used by a physician to diagnose heart diseases.

Diagnostic Medical Sonography

The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program is designed to prepare the student, through quality lecture, laboratory, and clinical externship in the theoretical knowledge, and skills, required to work in the medical field as an entry-level general sonographer.

MRI Technologist

The structure of this course combines introduction to medical/patient care skills, physics, math, medical terminology, human anatomy, cross sectional anatomy, theory, laboratory, computer skills. and a clinical externship.

Hemodialysis Technician

This is a California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Approved Hemodialysis Training Program. The course is intended for students who want to pursue a career in the Hemodialysis field.

Phlebotomy Technician

Individuals who plan to become professionals in the medical industry, often start as phlebotomists because it requires a short period of training, and because employment is relatively easy to find. Phlebotomy is considered a great way to try out the medical field.

Medical Assistant

This stimulating Medical Assistant program trains students to perform both the clinical and administrative responsibilities that allow medical workplaces and other healthcare practitioner offices to run effectively and smoothly.

Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning &

Refrigeration Technician (HVAC-R)

The HVAC-R program is designed to thoroughly prepare the student, through quality lecture for the theoretical knowledge. Students also learn the skills and responsibilities required to work as a HVAC-R Technician through laboratory practice. Graduates will be able to perfrom appropriate troubleshooting and repair of Heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment and ultimately qualify to sit for the EPA 608 Certificaiton.
